Background:  Iris is Botan's twin sister.  She is a year ahead of Botan in school because of her excellent grades.  Refined and soft-spoken, Iris has a hard time convincing other people that the two of them are related. She has no luck with the opposite sex and generally looks down on her sister's group of friends.  Iris is a teacher's pet whose studies allow her little time for a social life, but she has attained idol status among her peers.

Comments:  Interesting hairstyle, huh?  ^___^   I had originally intended to give Iris wavy pigtails, but I really wanted to try out sausage curls on a weird hair color.  They weren't that hard to do--I wrapped the hair in sections around twist-ties and boil-permed it for fifteen minutes.  I then let the hair dry naturally and carefully removed the twist-ties....voila ^_^!  Nice sausage curls.  The blue hair was kind of wispy, and I needed to smooth the curls with water wax a few times.  Other than that, no problem ^_6!

I don't know how I managed to fit another ring of color in her irises ^_^;;......The pattern was dark purple, light purple, dark purple, pink.  And I layered dark brown over taupe in the top and bottom of her eye.  Yeah, I was getting bored. ^_____^ ::laughs::  I think she looks pretty different from the other dolls I've made so far. 

I want another pigtail head!  I ordered a purple one that I'm going to style the same way.  I like this hairstyle, it reminds me of some Jenny Excelinas n_n....

Leene's Comments:  Botan's favorite nickname for her sister is "Lonely Girl."  I wonder how true this is?  I don't think that Iris-chan has ever stopped studying long enough to realize that she has no friends.   ^^;;;....
