Comments: Kyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
Ken-samaaaaaaaa!
::laughs:: Sorry, I had to say that. Ken Wakashimazu is the first
character doll I've made. He's a character from the soccer manga and anime
series Captain Tsubasa. In the grand scheme of things, he's the goalkeeper for the
team that's rival to Tsubasa's; first, Meiwa, and then Toho. He practices karate
when he's not playing soccer. His nickname is "The Karate Keeper."
He's often swept under the rug because of his calm and unintrusive personality, but he's
by far the best-looking character in the series ^o^! He's responsible and loyal, and
when he loses control it usually involves breaking furniture ^^. If I didn't like him as
much as I do, his name wouldn't be in my email address! :D
I had his materials with me for 5 or 6 months before I actually made the
doll.....I was a coward. I didn't want to make an ugly Ken-sama......^^ so I
made doll after doll and never touched him except to put his head on his body. In
the anime, his eyes are very simple, so I spruced them up with a little gray to make them
look less flat. I'm not sure how well he turned out, but he seems to be popular with
the ladies!
Leene's Comments: Poor Wakashimazu-kun...he looks so out of
place here. He's been getting a lot of attention from the girls lately, and I
don't think he knows what to do with it. Will he ever stop thinking about his
captain? Was he really born to be a goalkeeper? And when is he finally going to settle
down? He seems to be on the verge of an identity crisis...^_^.... I guess those are
the trials of being a teen idol....^-^;;.......
