Body: Volks New Excellent B
Head: Volks prerooted B-type head, blue
Eyes and lips painted with Liquitex paints
Likes: Fencing, the ocean, foreign novels
Dislikes: Dogs, waking up early, flirtatous men
Background: From afar she appears to be a shy girl, but Marid is in actuality a strong-willed, competitive young woman who tolerates little fuss from the people around her. Her peers say that she's cruel, but she's fiercely protective of her family and those she considers her friends. Little do they know that her steely demeanor conceals a heart of glass....
Comments: ^___^ This was....totally unexpected. I had no intention of making her with a B-type head, but Kristen ordered a blue mini head from HLJ that turned out to be a mislabeled B-type head (Volks' mistake, not HLJ >_<!) and I didn't know what else to do with it. I was initially going to sell her as a head, but Kristen seemed to like her (I'm still undecided ^_^;;;) and I don't have many dolls with the B-type head...
I'm not sure I did a good job painting it.....the B-type head doesn't exactly allow for a broad range of expression. I kind of like it, though ^^. It's more proportional to the body compared to the A-type head, at least. I sure don't want to get myself into a rut not experimenting with different head-types! C-type head, here I come!
Leene's Comments: Is Marid-san considered difficult to get along with because she's difficult, or because people expect her to be a pushover? I dunno.....^^
