Comments: My last Nako-head, and am I sad to see it
go! ;_;.....Well, at least I can say that Marigold came out looking pretty much the way I
planned. It's very easy to position the eyes on this head, and you can't vary the
size drastically. It's a great head for beginner painters--it's too bad that not
many people like this mold! 6_6
I'd like to get some more, though....I wasn't too happy with the 02 Edit
kit. I never did manage to get my hands on the Kisara and Ellie head ones. Now
Azone is releasing the heads and bodies separately, and NDR seems to be planning on
re-releasing the Ellie head, at least. Happy Day ^_^! I hope I have some money when
they come out!
I did something different with this head: I used Paynes Gray for most of
the iris (instead of the usual burnt umber) and painted the colored part in shades of
brown. Does she look different from my other dolls? I like this look....I
don't know, it makes the doll look more focused. My little brush was pretty frayed
by the time I finished (even though I just bought it!) and I wonder if the light spots
could be more uniform....I dunno. I've tried using Soft White in the whites for some
of my more recent dolls, but I've decided that I like Titanium White much better. It
covers better,, even if it is so brilliantly "white". What's wrong with
having really white whites to your eyes, anyway? -_-;;;......
My last few comment sections have sounded pretty awkward
