Background:  Ophelia belongs to a clan of winged immortals who live in a kingdom in the sky.  She was banished from her homeland for falling in love with a land-dweller.  He later betrayed her, and Ophelia was given the chance to return home on one condition--in penance  for her crime, she would have to make a human fall in love with her and break his heart.  At the mercy of land-dwellers, Ophelia has grown despondent and lives like a hermit in a cottage hidden in the woods.   Her only joy is her rose garden, which blooms constantly regardless of the season....

Comments:  Eyeeh....I made those wings myself, I did.  Can you see them in the picture ^^;;....?  It wasn't as easy as I thought it'd be, but it wasn't that hard, either.  I pretty much came up with the idea off the top of my head, since I couldn't find a single angel-wing tutorial on the Web -_-;;...

::clears throat:: Anyway, what I did was make a framework out of gold jewelry wire, then wove feathers around it, glued them down, glued feathers on top of them and all over everything....::laughs:: I pretty much slapped them together.   They're attached to the back of her dress with snaps.  So when the dress goes off, so do they ^^!

It was a last minute decision to give her hazel eyes.  Truth is, I couldn't find a single piece of fabric in my room that was appropriate for a dress like that besides the gold jacquard stuff, and I figured that if her eyes at least didn't match it it'd look very inappropriate ^^;;......

Yeah, and she has straight-across bangs ^^!  I've never been able to root those successfully before.  Her hair's a little flatter than I'd like it'd to be (weird, considering that I used almost an entire package of hair on her)but I'm hoping it'll pouf up.  It's been in a sleeve for a while.
