had always wanted to make a doll with the SH-02 head, kind of as a novelty. ^___^
I've already witnessed in with Multi, so no problem, right?
^_^;;.....I'm still shell-shocked about the size her head. It
really isn't that big compared to most anime dolls' heads, but she looks weird standing
next to my other Volks dolls. Since this head has eyewells, (the good kind that
helps you place the eyes and recedes into the background after you finish, not that bad
kind that makes your doll look like she has dark circles under her eyes ^^;;;) it wasn't
that hard to paint. The sheer size of the eyes makes me wonder if I should've put
more detail in them. She still has more shading in her eyes than Multi does ^^;;;......
I think I'm an eyebrow Nazi. I always put so much effort into
making the eyebrows perfect that I don't have much energy left for the lips or any other
pretty detail. Most of my dolls only have one eyelash per eye. ::laughs:: I do
like the way Ran's hair came out, though. I rooted NDR silver into the part and did
the rest in light purple. Now I'm trying to think of the other mesh combos I want to
do: blue and silver, green and silver, pink and silver, yellow and silver.....^^;;;
How about blue and green?
