Background: Ruri is a quiet girl with a warm, generous heart that affords her many acquaintances but few close friends.  She has lived alone in the country since the death of her adoptive parents in a fire two years ago.  Despite her tragic past, she remains constantly serene and unreflective.  People who meet her wonder if she doesn't have amnesia. 

Comments:  I boiled her head ^o^!  I got the idea for her from a very pretty custom doll head I saw on sale on Yahoo!Japan.  She doesn't look much like that head...;_;....I was originally going to give her hazel eyes, but the yellow paint I have has a funny consistency.  Is she too monochrome ^_^?   I hope not.

That dress she's wearing is from the Rosemary Collection by Volks.   It's very pretty, but extremely tight in the bodice and nearly impossible to put on.  I guess that since it doesn't have darts, the only way to give it shape is to make it tight as hell! That seems to be a pattern for Volks... >_<  I tore all my cuticles trying to put that dress on Ruri. 

You don't need to know where I got her name *_*!  Okay, I'll tell you. I've been playing Legend of Mana lately, and I hear that Elazul's name was Ruri in the Japanese version...^^;;;;  (isn't that such a chick name?) It means lapis lazuli.   Big surprise ^___^....

Leene's Comments: Sometimes I wonder what kind of creature Ruri really is.  She seems so open, and at the same time, so empty.  Like there's part of her that's been missing for a long time...^^;;;.......
