Her family is well-off, but she misses her old home and dreams of returning. She's a complicated girl who appears simple at times. She doesn't stand out, but everyone she meets wants to know the story behind her melancholy smile. |
Comments: Muu........Salah is a doll I painted almost a year ago that I finally got around to repainting. I wasn't too enthusiastic about this job because I've always had a heck of a time painting the B-type head. I still do! Originally, Salah had grey eyes and light purple lips. I hated her from the moment I finished her. Even now that she's been repainted with more normal coloring, I don't know what to think. ^_^;;.......Is the B-type head really that weird? I don't know what kind of face it's supposed to emulate. I can't say that it's my least favorite head mold, because I haven't used that many different head molds and there are quite a few cute commercial dolls with the B-type head (Claudia, Claudia, la la la ^o^!) Just don't let those eye-well deceive you. This head is very hard to paint! -_-The one thing I truly love about this doll is her hair. Volks Classic Gold is lovely! ^_^ It has a nice bronze-y sheen and feels like silk. I have an A-type head with this hair lying around my room, but I don't know what to do with it. Make it into a boy? Or a girl with curls? I dunno.....^^I haven't used black in a doll's eyes for a long time. I'm afraid of it, really!Leene's Comments: |
